Connecting Architecture + the EDP

This lesson plan includes an activity asking youth to brainstorm all the different steps that an architect might take while building a structure from start to finish. For now, put your "youth hat" on, and engage in this activity as if you were a young person in your afterschool program.

In the Jamboard, add sticky notes capturing the various steps that an architect might take to build a structure. Write one step or action word per sticky note, and try and think of as many different important steps as possible!

In the picture below, fellow educators add their sticky-notes to the in-person "jamboard" at the New York Hall of Science!
